<p>The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program is tailored for the needs of international students wishing to succeed in academic study in Australia.</p><p>This program aims to develop the intermediate reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar, computer and study skills required for further study at Federation University, for diplomas, undergraduate and postgraduate programs. It focuses on building students' confidence in the fundamental language skills in an academic context with an emphasis on developing critical thinking and academic literacy skills. You will develop:</p><ul><li>critical thinking skills that you need to successfully complete your study at Federation University</li><li>reading and writing skills by understanding how to evaluate academic reading texts and how to prepare and present writing in appropriate academic style</li><li>the ability to evaluate and communicate in multicultural environments including issues relating to their field of interest.</li><li>further grammar and vocabulary knowledge</li></ul>
