<p>This unit forms the core research project component of the Graduate Certificate in Research and has a focus on carrying out a program of research and submitting a significant piece of work for assessment. The unit involves composing a thesis in the discipline area of the student, and depending on the discipline, the thesis may involve constructing an argument, gathering and analysing data, associated field, laboratory, clinical or computer based work. For students working in creative art disciplines, work may involve producing creative writing with an accompanying exegesis, or exegesis plus development and production of a body of creative practical works of art, design or performance.</p>
