<p>This unit examines leadership theories, models and practices as they relate to the healthcare context using a critical lens. Designed for current, emerging and aspiring clinical leaders, concepts including modern leadership, diversity in leadership, self-leadership, practical aspects of situational awareness, leading teams and change are explored. The unit provides students with a framework to support critical self-reflection and awareness of their own leadership capital and capabilities as they determine their preferred leadership journey and development needs.</p>
